With the recent kerfuffle re RealDebrid's hair-trigger ban-hammer, we've seen an increased interest in the Stremio Addons we host which provide "proxy streaming", protecting users from inadvertent bans due to WiFi/Cellular/VPN switchover, shared account usage, and random VPN traffic redistribution.
We've also had recent feedback from users that the current pricing / options on these addons are (1) too expensive, and (2) too complicated.
So we've listened, and have been making some improvements (below)
Our goal is that a user can enjoy the full benefits of an addon with a single, reasonably-priced subscription, but upgrade to add more resources (bandwidth) as required.
💫 Comet (7-day free trial)
Comet subscriptions now include a bundled Jackett instance, so you can setup your own indexers, as well as Comet proxy-streaming support for at least 1 x HD stream (up to 64Mbps).
🎞️ MediaFusion (7-day free trial)
MediaFusion subscriptions now include a bundled Mediaflow Proxy instance, supporting at least 1 x HD stream (up to 64Mbps).
🫧 Proxy Streaming Boosters (7-day free trial)
If you need proxystreaming in 4K (or multiple HD streams), you can "boost" Comet/MediaFlowProxy with extra bandwidth up to 4K (125Mbps) or dual-4K (250Mbps).

What if I already have Jackett?
You can cancel it and enjoy the bundled Jackett, or swap it out for a 4k proxystreaming booster
What if I already have Comet and Comet Proxy Streaming?
If you want to keep 4K streaming, do nothing, and the products will evolve into Comet and a 4K proxystreaming booster.
If you're happy with HD streaming, cancel the proxystreaming subscription, or switch it out for another app.
Can I get Prowlarr bundled instead of Jackett?
Jackett is more resource-efficient, and works better with Comet. Prowlarr is available as an optional extra subscription, with a 7-day free trial.
Can I get Flaresolverr bundled with Comet?
Flaresolverr can be a significant consumer of resources, and its effectiveness recently is.. unpredictable. It's not bundled with Comet by default, but is available as an optional extra subscription, with a 7-day free trial.

What if I've only purchased MediaFlow Proxy?
Either keep it as is (it's already the 4K version), or if you don't need 4K streaming, switch it out for MediaFusion and get HD streaming bundled in.
What if I've purchased MediaFusion AND MediaFlow Proxy?
If you want to keep 4K streaming, do nothing, and the products will evolve into MediaFusion and a 4K booster.

How do you calculate amount of streams vs bandwidth?
To keep it simple, we use https://repo.jellyfin.org/jellyfish/ as a guide.
Is my internet fast / close enough?
Test your speed on the ElfHosted Speedtest - if it's a viable option, you can migrate to a closer datacenter.
