Announcing Debridge: one key, every provider, one mega-cache
You're hearing this before the rest of the world! The full announcement goes out to everyone in 12h or so, but you're here, you're already running the stack, and frankly you're the people most likely to find the rough edges. Consider this your early access.
First, the context you've already lived through. RealDebrid's filename filters knocked out a decent chunk of cached results about a month ago, and while we've hidden the worst-affected releases in our addons, we can't conjure back results RD isn't returning. TorBox has been soaking up the RD refugees, and credit to them, they've scaled fast and handled it well. The downside of being popular: serious DDOS attacks the past two weekends, knocking their API offline through no fault of their own. They've recovered quickly each time, but if TorBox is your only provider, those weekends still meant broken streams.
The common thread: rely on a single provider, and you're one bad weekend away from a broken setup.
So we built Debridge.
⚡ Already on a Debridge-enabled plan? Start here.
If your plan includes Debridge, it's live for you right now:
- Head to your account settings
- Add your debrid and/or Usenet provider keys
- Grab your Debridge API key, and use it in your addons in place of individual provider keys
That's it. One key in your addons, and Debridge handles the rest behind the scenes.
Not sure if your plan qualifies? Check your account, or ask in Discord. We're always there.
🔑 One key. Every provider. One mega-cache.
Bring your own debrid provider keys, add them once in your account settings, and Debridge hands you back a single API key to use across all your ElfHosted addons.
The result is your own personal mega-cache: every provider's cache combined and searched as one (RealDebrid, AllDebrid, Premiumize, TorBox, DebridLink, Torrin, plus any Usenet provider). More providers means a bigger cache, more instant results, and better streams.
Behind the scenes:
- → Searches query every provider's cache and return the best combined results
- → Streams route to your preferred provider, with automatic fallback if one goes down
- → No external API rate limits or DDOS exposure, it's fully internal and managed by us
- → One key to manage, instead of one per addon per provider
It's also the easiest way to get more from keys you already own. Migrated to TorBox but still holding a RealDebrid sub? Add both and get the best of both worlds: RD's reliability alongside TorBox's unfiltered results. When RD filters something out, TorBox may still have it. When TorBox is weathering an attack, Debridge quietly routes around the outage. Individual provider problems stop being your problem.
🧲 Turn any torrent result into a ⚡ Usenet-backed stream.
More results, better streams: add a Usenet provider to your Debridge account, and torrent results from any Stremio addon automatically get served as Usenet-backed HTTP streams when available, even in addons with no native Usenet support.
Streams are CDN-delivered and start within 30 seconds. Works natively in AIOStreams, MediaFusion, UsenetStreamer, and Usenet Ultimate.
🎁 Not on a Debridge plan yet?
Debridge is available on individual addon plans for AIOStreams, MediaFusion, and Comet, or you can browse all Debridge-enabled products.
If you want the holy grail, the Stremio Addons bundle is 15 addons in one subscription, and it includes TorBox Essential and Usenet Essential subscriptions of your own, so there's nothing extra to buy. Add those keys to your Debridge account just like any BYO provider, and you're multi-provider from day one.
There's a deeper dive into how Debridge works (and what it deliberately isn't) on the Debridge page.
📺 Running a personal media stack?
Debridge also underpins Balrog, our cloud storage layer for personal media stacks. Multiple debrid providers back your library at once, with smart routing between CDN and proxied streams, and automatic fallback when content gets evicted from one provider but still lives on another.
🐛 Kick the tyres
You're getting this ahead of the public announcement for a reason: if something's broken, confusing, or just weird, we'd rather hear it from you now than from a thousand new trial users on Friday. Add your keys, point your addons at Debridge, and tell us in Discord how it goes, good or bad.
Happy Streaming!
