Frequently Asked Questions

I already have AIOStreams. Can I switch to this?
Yes. Go to your subscriptions, pick the AIOStreams one, and use the Change Subscription button. It swaps over in place and keeps your billing date. You do not need a second subscription.

Do I keep Debridge, TorBox and Usenet if I switch from AIOStreams?
Yes, if you are on AIOStreams with Debridge. AIOMagic includes everything that subscription has now, plus AIOMetadata and Posters Plus, and nothing is removed.

I am on AIOStreams with TorBox Pro. Should I switch?
Check with us first. The TorBox account bundled here is TorBox Essential, so switching from the Pro tier would move you down to Essential for the same $18. If you want AIOMetadata and Posters Plus alongside your Pro account, talk to us in Discord and we will sort out the right combination rather than have you lose the tier you are paying for.

I already pay for AIOStreams and AIOMetadata separately. Is this cheaper?
It is the same $18 you pay now, and you gain Posters Plus at no extra cost. Switching is worth doing.

Do I need my own debrid or usenet account?
No. Third-party TorBox Essential and Usenet Essential accounts are bundled in. You can add your own provider credentials as well if you would rather use those.

Is there any setup involved?
A little. All three instances are provisioned and running when you subscribe. Posters Plus gives you a poster URL, and you paste that into AIOMetadata as its poster source. It takes a couple of minutes and is documented. Ask in Discord if you would rather be walked through it.

How is this different from the Stremio Addons Bundle?
The Stremio Addons Bundle is about two dozen addons for $29 and suits people who would rather not choose. AIOMagic is the curated set that works together, for people who know they want a better looking Stremio without picking through a catalogue.

Debridge is an ElfHosted orchestration layer, not a provider account in its own right, and ElfHosted does not operate the upstream provider services.

Watch it on your TV, and share it with the house

AIOMagic includes JellyStreams, which we build and which is not sold separately (it comes with this bundle and the Stremio Addons Bundle). It serves everything this bundle assembles over the Jellyfin protocol, so Infuse, Swiftfin, Strand, Fusion and the official Jellyfin apps can browse and play it. That reaches the devices Stremio has no app for, chiefly Apple TV and iOS, where the official route is a sideloaded IPA, and Roku, which has no Stremio app at all.

Playing on a TV is the easy half. The half a Stremio addon cannot do is people, because Stremio has no concept of a user at all. JellyStreams is the layer that does:

• 🏠 Profiles for the household. Each one is a real Jellyfin user with its own watch history and continue-watching row. Your own profile keeps everything it already had.
• 🧒 Kids libraries that are actually filtered. A child profile binds to an age-capped AIOMetadata install, so catalogs and search are filtered by certification, with a policy for unrated titles and a cap that can only be tightened, never loosened.
• 🎬 Content limits by what is in a title. Set violence, sex, swearing, substances and frightening scenes separately for each profile, judged from crowd-sourced parents' guide ratings, so "fine with action, not with sex" is a setting rather than a compromise.
• 🙋 A child can ask. When a title is blocked, their screen says a parent has been asked. You get a push saying why, and one tap on their Family tab allows that title for that profile without loosening anything else.
• ⏰ Daily screen time, per profile, with a warning before it runs out.
• 🔔 Push notifications on your phone when somebody starts or stops something, delivered through Sam, your stack's assistant. Opt-in per profile, and your own viewing is never announced. Add Sam to your home screen to receive them: on iPhone and iPad, Apple only allows push from an installed app, so a bookmark will not do.
• 👆 Tap your own face. Signing in once enrols that device, and afterwards each person opens their profile with a tap instead of typing a password on a TV remote. The owner profile always asks, so the account that sees everything is the one behind a PIN.
• 🎛 A household panel for profiles, profile pictures, devices, invites, content limits, requests, screen time and notification settings, behind your ElfHosted login.

What screen time does and does not do: playback is a redirect, so the video never passes through us. A capped profile cannot start anything new, and for what is already playing we ask the app to stop, over the connection Jellyfin apps already hold open. The official Jellyfin apps and the web player stop; an app that keeps no such connection finishes the episode. Content limits are checked the same way, when something is played. Device enrolment is friction rather than a vault: it means an outsider needs your hostname and an enrolled device, while your family needs neither.
