Our long-awaiting additional hardware for the US cluster arrived yesterday, and after an early morning 🥱 spent wrangling Cilium CNI, I'm happy to announce that we have a fully HA controlplane (3 nodes), and double our capacity for tenant workloads (6 nodes, more on order).
I've removed the "beta" label from the relocation product, and updated our "how to migrate" doc as follows:
Due to hardware differences, in this environment, users get 25% of RAM limits, and 50% of the CPU limits they'd get at elfhosted.com, but 200% of the bandwidth. To date, these limits have not impacted normal function of any of the apps of our power users / beta-testers.
So, if our speedtest tells you that you'd get better speeds in the US datacenter, you're welcome to grab the package and make the jump (do read the docs though, and run a backup before you go!)

TrueCharts "highly recommend ElfHosted"
We got an honorable mention from the TrueCharts guys:
For users who prefer not to handle the maintenance and management of their self-hosted content, we highly recommend ElfHosted. Visit ElfHosted for a hassle-free, fully managed hosting solution tailored to your needs.
"One of the best .. communities"
In our subreddit, I shared an unsolicited quote from our "#today-i-learned" channel in Discord:
I am new here, but today I learned realized that Elfhosted is one of the best free and open source software communities I've seen, and FOSS communities have been at the center of my life since the 90s (Perl, PHP, Symfony, Drupal, Ethereum, etc.). Great open software built by great people who care = great community, and that is something special.
You've done an amazing job @Funky Penguelf with the platform you provide and this place has an awesome mix of active community caretakers and software creators that I've seen here so far like BSM, Spoked, LayeZee and other elf vengers. Keep up the energy, productivity and community and take time to enjoy it and appreciate each other!
And from me... thank you all for making ElfHosted a fun and welcoming community! ❤️
Better videos
In an effort to increase our reach, I've tidied up our YouTube Channel, making an introductory video (below), and recording my first YouTube #short - an introduction to MediaFusion
$1 one-day demos are delicious 🍦
We've seen a recent uptick in new users, as a result of our new $1 one-day demos, which give prospective Elfies the opportunity to try out a full stack (a Ranger!) without risk or commitment.
Not all of our demo friends stick around (as you'd expect), but thank you to the community and the ElfVengers for offering such a warm welcome to the ones who do!
