Yesterday we rolled out 2 significant updates to 2 relatively new apps, as detailed below:

SeerrBridge 🌉

SeerrBridge is an alternative downloader, which uses a headless browser to log into DMM on your behalf, and add items to your library, driven by requests in Overseerr / Jellyseerr. This is extremely effective since it gives you access to the entire DMM scraped database (not available anywhere else), but a big issue until now has been that Overseerr / Jellyseerr don't integrate well for currently airing TV seasons.

Our initial test users found this frustrating - it's easy enough to catch up on your backlog, but if a season is midway through currently, there was no easy way to grab the next episode via SeerrBridge when it comes out.

This has all changed with SeerrBridge v0.5, which now supports in-flight TV shows!

Pulsarr 🌟

Pulsarris a lovingly built UI around a powerful backend - it watches your (and your Plex friends') Plex watchlist, and adds items to your Radarrs / Sonarrs almost instantly (PlexPass required). This means that your non-technical friends-and-family simply have to click the "Add to watchlist" button in their Plex apps. That's it.

Until now, notifications for activity (new request, request fulfilled, etc) required you to setup your own Discord bot, have your own Discord server, etc, which is too much friction for most users.

Pulsarr v0.2.11 has integrated Apprise support, so it's now super-simple to send notifications to > 107 different platforms (email, telegram, Discord, whatevz), and you can do this per user, so (for example), Grandma gets notified by email when her watchlisted items are available, but weird uncle Tom gets his notifications via BlueSky!

We ❤️ Developers

Both SeerrBridge and Pulsarr have active developers in our Discord server (#elf-seerrbridge and #elf-pulsarr channels, respectively), who are happy to receive feedback and ideas (and to whom we contribute a commission on your subscriptions!)
