Flaresolverr has been the go-to method for using automated tools (Prowlarr, Jackett) with Cloudflare-protected indexers for years now, but it's not aged particularly well, and development seems to have slowed. Anecdotally, our users find that Flaresolverr works some of the time only, although this may have something to do with our datacenter IP ranges.

Byparr is a newish, drop-in replacement for Flaresolverr, which is being actively developed, and seems to be the new darling of the Flaresolverr userbase.

We've internally replaced Flaresolverr with Byparr ("dropped in" the drop-in replacement, if you will...) so users who've already setup Flaresolverr with Prowlarr or Jackett should be getting their bypassing via Byparr now, without making any changes.

At this point, Byparr is not plumbed to a VPN / proxy, although we could effect this if required. It's also not yet bundled with Hobbit instances, since we yet have a feeling for resource usage over time. However, if you're using Flaresolverr for indexers which required Cloudflare bypassing, give Flaresolverr/Byparr another try, and let us know the results! 🙂
