How it works

After careful analysis of our unique usage patterns, we've modeled up 4 tiers of NNTP account, using combination of throughput and daily usage to manage costs.

Here's how it works:

• 4K: Default, 150Mbps throughput, with 150GB daily cap (enough for one chunky 4K movie / day).
• 2x4K: Automatically paired with the applicable booster, limited to 256Mbps throughput with 256GB/day usage.
• 4x4K: Automatically paired with the applicable booster, limited to 512Mbps throughput with 512GB/day usage.
• 8x8K: Automatically paired with the applicable booster, limited to 1Gbps throughput with 1TB/day usage.

After hitting a daily usage cap, the account continues to work, but speeds are reduced to 50Mbps, so that lightweight management / streaming is still possible while waiting for the daily cap reset.

The basic 4K tier only works within the ElfHosted environment, but the larger plans will also work with Stremio's native NNTP support, currently on desktops only and in beta on Android TVs (stream directly from the provider instead of via ElfHosted infra).
