StremThru is a Stremio companion and debrid multi-tool — proxy-stream from Real-Debrid without multi-IP bans, wrap any addon to add support for additional debrid providers, and reorder your addons from a single dashboard.
What is StremThru?
StremThru is an open-source Stremio companion that solves three common debrid-streaming pain points at once: it proxy-streams to protect your debrid account from multi-IP bans, it wraps existing addons to add support for debrid providers they don't natively integrate, and it gives you a single dashboard to manage and reorder your addons.
Features
- 🪄 Proxy-streaming — routes debrid streams through ElfHosted's IP, bypassing simultaneous-IP-use restrictions
- 🎁 Addon wrapping — extend any Stremio addon to support additional debrid providers, even ones not natively integrated
- 🛠️ Addon management — manage and reorder all your Stremio addons from one dashboard
- 🛡️ Multi-IP ban protection — Real-Debrid and AllDebrid traffic appears from a single ElfHosted IP regardless of where you watch from
- 📺 4K-capable — base instance handles 1 × 4K or 2 × HD streams; boostable for households with multiple concurrent viewers
StremThru in Your Streaming Ecosystem
- 🔀 AIOStreams — wrap AIOStreams with StremThru for additional debrid provider coverage
- 🎬 Comet — pair StremThru's proxy with Comet for layered protection across multiple addons
- 📡 MediaFusion — wrap MediaFusion to add debrid backends not available upstream
- 💾 Real-Debrid / AllDebrid / Premiumize / TorBox — all major debrid providers supported via StremThru's wrapping layer
Why ElfHosted?
Self-hosting StremThru means running yet another Docker container alongside the rest of your Stremio addon stack — and because StremThru's proxy-streaming feature is the whole point, it has to be reachable over HTTPS from wherever you watch (phone, TV, work). That means a public domain, an SSL certificate, a reverse proxy, and ongoing maintenance. The bigger problem: if you self-host StremThru on a home connection, your debrid traffic is still tied to your residential IP, which doesn't help much when you stream from a phone on cellular and trip multi-IP detection anyway.
ElfHosted's StremThru runs from a stable datacentre IP, so all your debrid traffic appears from a single source no matter where you are watching from.
- 🛡️ Datacentre IP for debrid — your home/cellular IP is never seen by Real-Debrid
- 🚀 No Docker, no reverse proxy — HTTPS handled out of the box
- ⬆️ Boostable — start at 1 × 4K and add capacity for households with concurrent viewers
- 🔄 Always up-to-date — ElfHosted ships upstream StremThru releases automatically

FAQ
How do I run StremThru without self-hosting it?
Add it to your ElfHosted subscription — this product is a managed StremThru instance. The proxy-streaming feature only meaningfully protects debrid accounts when traffic comes from a stable datacentre IP, not your home or mobile connection. ElfHosted runs StremThru on a fixed datacentre IP so all your debrid traffic looks the same regardless of where you watch from. No Docker, no reverse proxy, no public domain to wire up.
Do I need StremThru if I already use Comet's proxy?
StremThru's value beyond proxying is addon wrapping — adding debrid providers to addons that don't support them, and giving you a single management dashboard. Use it if you run multiple addons and want unified control.
Can I use StremThru without a debrid account?
The proxy and wrapping features are debrid-focused. Without a debrid account, the addon-management UI still works, but most of the value comes from debrid integration.
Is the base 1 × 4K enough?
Solo viewers, yes. Households with multiple simultaneous 4K streams should add a booster.
