Back in February, we walked you through the merger of Overseerr and Jellyseerr into a single app called Seerr, and kicked off a staggered migration on subscription refresh. As far as we can tell, just about everyone's now running Seerr happily (thanks!), but on the off-chance there are still a few holdouts quietly clinging to their original Overseerr or Jellyseerr, this one's for you. 🫵

We said we'd decommission the originals once everyone had a chance to migrate, so we're calling it. The end of May 2026 is the final sunset date for Overseerr and Jellyseerr on ElfHosted. If you're still running either app, here's the drill. Open Seerr, confirm everything's working the way you like (requests, users, integrations), and then use ElfBot to reset your old Overseerr/Jellyseerr instance. Just let it be after that. We'll pull the old apps from the catalogue at month-end and that'll be the end of them. One thing to watch out for, if you had a custom domain addon on the original, it doesn't migrate across, so you'll need to cancel it and grab a fresh one for Seerr if you haven't already.
