AIOStreams NNTP is out (and why Elfies don’t need it)
AIOStreams has a new upstream release whose headline feature is built-in NNTP support. This release has been highly-anticipated in the self-hosting communities since it allows a user to stream from Usenet without Nzbdav / Altmount / TorBox Pro.
For ElfHosted users though, we'd steer users away from native NNTP and towards our in-house Debridge service, which has the following Elf-sclusive advantages:
✅ Automated fallback, serving Usenet releases from Debrid, and Debrid releases from Usenet
✅ Content is delivered via CDN rather than proxying through ElfHosted infra, so less buffering and more speed ⚡️
✅ Supported equally across all ElfHosted addons including Personal Media Stacks (Plex, Emby, Jellyfin)
✅ Detailed stats and analytics (below)
✅ Built in-house so we're able to quickly improve / adapt
Here's an example of the details available for Debridge users, at https://debridge.elfhosted.com :

Read more about Debridge's capabilities in this recent blog post.
AIOStreams (and any other addon) users can switch their existing stacks over to the Debridge variant at the same price, by clicking on the subscription in their account, and clicking the green "Change Subscription" button.
(AIOStreams users who still want to play with the native NNTP can do so, refer to the internal docs for details, or ask Sam!)
Happy streaming!
