What is Bazarr?

Bazarr is a companion app for Sonarr and Radarr that automatically downloads missing subtitles for your media library. It searches across 30+ subtitle providers (OpenSubtitles, Subscene, Addic7ed, Subdivx, Subscenter, and more), grabs the best match in your preferred languages, and embeds them alongside your video files.

This instance is paired with the HD Sonarr and Radarr instances on ElfHosted.

FAQ

Do I need an OpenSubtitles VIP account?
Free tier works for occasional use. For large libraries with daily monitoring, the OpenSubtitles VIP API key (separate purchase from OpenSubtitles) avoids rate limits.

Why does Bazarr download wrong-language subtitles sometimes?
Provider tagging isn't always accurate. Use language profiles with explicit "must match" rules to filter out mistagged uploads.
