It runs, we test it, and your trial lets you prove it fits before you commit, but our support team does not yet have deep experience with it. What is Firefly III?

Firefly III is a personal finance manager with double-entry bookkeeping underneath and a friendly face on top. Record what comes in and what goes out across your accounts, set budgets per category, tell it which bills are due when, and let rules do the categorising for you. The reports then show the year you had rather than the one you remember having.

How do I log in?
Firefly III sits behind your ElfHosted login. On your first visit, register your account in the app: the first one registered becomes the owner, and registration closes behind it.

Can I use it on my phone?
Yes, in your phone's browser. The mobile apps and API clients that talk to Firefly III cannot reach your instance in this version, because it sits behind your ElfHosted login.

Can I import my bank statements?
The separate Firefly III Data Importer is not part of this version, so bring transactions in through the web interface for now.

Does it send email?
Yes. Firefly III mail goes out through ElfHosted from an ElfHosted address, so there is nothing for you to configure.
