Managed LubeLogger hosting for tracking vehicle maintenance, fuel economy, and running costs without the shoebox of receipts.
Hosted LubeLogger: managed vehicle maintenance and fuel tracking for anyone whose service history currently lives in a glovebox.
Early Access
This app is a brand-new addition to ElfHosted, and is considered beta. It runs, we test it, and your trial lets you prove it fits before you commit, but our support team does not yet have deep experience with it. Expect some trial and error: lean on the upstream documentation, experiment freely, and share what you learn in Discord, where the community and team are figuring these new apps out together. If you need a battle-tested workflow today, our established apps are the safer pick.
What is LubeLogger?
LubeLogger is a vehicle maintenance and fuel mileage tracker, because nobody should manage their car's service history with a homemade spreadsheet or a shoebox full of receipts. Log service records, repairs, upgrades, taxes, and odometer readings per vehicle, attach the receipts and documents, and set reminders so the next oil change does not sneak up on you.
Fuel entries roll up into mileage and cost statistics with charts, so you can see exactly what each vehicle costs to run, and spot when fuel economy starts drifting. Data imports and exports via CSV, so your history comes with you and never gets locked in.
Key Features
- Per-vehicle service history: Services, repairs, upgrades, and taxes, each with date, odometer, cost, and notes.
- Receipt and document storage: Attach receipts, invoices, and manuals to the records they belong to.
- Fuel and cost tracking: Enter fill-ups and get fuel economy and running-cost charts automatically.
- Reminders: Recurring by date or odometer distance, so oil changes and registrations arrive on schedule, not by surprise.
- Odometer tracking: Readings stay in sync as you add fuel and service entries.
- CSV import and export: Bring in an existing spreadsheet, and take your data with you anytime.
LubeLogger in Your Stack
LubeLogger covers ground nothing else in the ElfHosted catalog touches: your vehicles. It pairs naturally with Warracker (warranties and receipts for everything that is not a car) and with ntfy if you want maintenance reminders pushed to your phone. Together they form a tidy "grown-up paperwork" corner of your subscription.
Why Run LubeLogger on ElfHosted?
Service history is only valuable if it is complete and safe, years of records you want available at the mechanic, at resale time, and after your laptop dies. ElfHosted keeps it that way.
- Managed access and support: Provisioned in minutes, kept updated, with friendly humans on Discord.
- Plays well with other ElfHosted apps: Sits beside Warracker and ntfy on your dashboard for a complete records-and-reminders setup.
- Persistent config: Vehicles, records, and attached documents survive restarts and upgrades.
- Simple subscription: One flat monthly price with a 7-day trial, cancel anytime.
Works With
- Warracker: Warranties and receipts for the rest of the household.
- ntfy: Push maintenance reminders to your phone.
- CSV: Import an existing spreadsheet, export everything anytime.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many vehicles can I track?
As many as you own (or wrench on). Every record, reminder, and document hangs off a vehicle, so a household fleet stays organised per car.
Can I try it before subscribing?
Yes, twice over: the upstream project runs a public demo at demo.lubelogger.com, and your ElfHosted subscription starts with a 7-day trial.
Can I get my data out again?
Yes. Everything imports and exports via CSV, and your attached documents live in your instance's storage.
Who can see my records?
Your instance sits behind ElfHosted single sign-on, so it is private to you unless you choose to share access.
