Jackettio
$9.00 / month with a 7-day free trial and a $1.00 sign-up fee
Jackettio connects your Jackett indexers directly to Stremio — ElfHosted’s hosted version bundles a Jackett instance so you skip the two-container setup, HTTPS reverse proxy, and rate limits of the public instance.
What is Jackettio?
Jackettio is an open-source Stremio addon that bridges your Jackett indexers to Stremio, letting you stream from private trackers and custom indexer sources without a debrid account. It queries Jackett, ranks results by quality and seed count, and serves them as a Stremio-compatible stream list.
Features
- 🗂️ Jackett integration — connects directly to your Jackett instance for 500+ tracker sources
- 🏴☠️ Private tracker support — stream from trackers your arr apps use, directly in Stremio
- ⚡ 10x higher rate limits — private ElfHosted instance vs. shared public limits
- 📦 Bundled Jackett & MediaFlow Proxy — ElfHosted bundles Jackett (the indexer backend) and MediaFlow Proxy (multi-IP-ban protection) so all three are pre-wired together
- 🎯 Quality ranking — results sorted by resolution and seed count
- 🔐 No debrid required — works with torrents directly, or pair with a debrid service for caching
Jackettio in Your Streaming Ecosystem
Jackettio fills the gap between your tracker indexers and Stremio:
- 🗂️ Jackett — the indexer backend; bundled with your ElfHosted Jackettio subscription
- 🛡️ MediaFlow Proxy — bundled proxy-streaming layer that protects debrid accounts from multi-IP bans when Jackettio results route through a debrid service. Pre-wired into the Jackettio configuration. Bundle-only — no standalone product page (also bundled into the Stremio Addons Bundle).
- 📺 Stremio — install Jackettio as a Stremio addon URL, search results appear as streams
- 📡 AIOStreams — combine Jackettio with Comet and Torrentio for a unified stream list with deduplication
- 💾 Real-Debrid / AllDebrid — optionally pass Jackettio results through debrid for instant-cached playback
Why ElfHosted?
Self-hosting Jackettio has a two-container problem: Jackettio needs a running Jackett instance to query, which means maintaining both services, wiring them together on a shared Docker network, and keeping both updated independently. Either service going down breaks the other.
The other blocker is HTTPS. Stremio requires HTTPS for any non-localhost addon URL — so a self-hosted Jackettio on a home server needs a domain name, a valid SSL certificate, and a reverse proxy (Caddy, nginx, or Traefik) to terminate TLS. Most self-hosters hit this the first time they try to install their addon URL on a phone or TV and get a silent failure.
- 📦 Jackett included — both services deployed and wired together automatically
- 🔒 HTTPS by default — no domain, SSL cert, or reverse proxy to configure
- 🔄 Auto-restart on Mono crashes — Jackett's known Mono instability handled by Kubernetes pod restarts
- ⚡ Higher rate limits — your private instance isn't throttled by public traffic

FAQ
Does Jackettio require a debrid account?
No. Jackettio streams directly from torrent sources. A debrid account is optional — use it if you want instant-cached playback without seeding.
Is Jackett included in the Jackettio subscription?
Yes, ElfHosted bundles a Jackett instance with Jackettio. Both are pre-wired — add your trackers in Jackett and they immediately appear as sources in Jackettio.
How is this different from Comet?
Comet sources from debrid-cached hashlists and Torrentio. Jackettio sources from your Jackett-connected trackers. Users with private tracker access use Jackettio to bring those sources into Stremio.
