Managed Listarr hosting for feeding curated TMDB discovery lists into Radarr and Sonarr on a schedule.
Hosted Listarr: managed list-import automation for Radarr and Sonarr users who want their libraries to keep up with what is current, hands-free.
Early Access
This app is a brand-new addition to ElfHosted, and is considered beta. It runs, we test it, and your trial lets you prove it fits before you commit, but our support team does not yet have deep experience with it. Expect some trial and error: lean on the upstream documentation, experiment freely, and share what you learn in Discord, where the community and team are figuring these new apps out together. If you need a battle-tested workflow today, our established apps are the safer pick.
What is Listarr?
Listarr automates media discovery: build lists from TMDB (trending, popular, top rated, or fine-grained discovery filters by genre, year, rating, language, and region), preview the results, then import them straight into Radarr and Sonarr with your choice of quality profile, root folder, tags, and monitoring settings. Lists run on a schedule (hourly, daily, weekly, or a custom cron expression), items already in your library are skipped automatically, and an activity page shows exactly what each run did.
Listarr does not host, index, or download any content. It is an organisational tool that adds titles to the Radarr and Sonarr instances you configure; what those apps do with them is governed by your own indexers, download clients, and the laws that apply to you.
Key Features
- TMDB discovery lists: Presets like Trending Movies and Popular TV, or custom filters by genre, year, rating, language, and region.
- Live preview: See exactly what a list will import before it touches your library.
- Per-list import settings: Quality profile, root folder, tags, and monitoring, per list or from your defaults.
- Scheduling: Hourly, daily, weekly, or your own cron expression.
- Duplicate-aware: Titles already in Radarr or Sonarr are skipped automatically.
- Activity log: A clear record of what each run added and why.
Listarr in Your Stack
Listarr is a natural add-on for anyone already running Radarr and Sonarr on ElfHosted: point it at http://radarr:7878 and http://sonarr:8989 with their API keys, add your free TMDB key, and your *arrs start receiving a steady drip of well-chosen titles. It fills the gap between "I request things manually" and "my library curates itself".
Why Run Listarr on ElfHosted?
Scheduled automation only works when the scheduler is always on. ElfHosted keeps Listarr running next to your *arrs, on the same internal network, with no ports or reverse proxies to wrangle.
- Managed access and support: Provisioned in minutes, kept updated, with humans on Discord when you need a hand.
- Plays well with other ElfHosted apps: Radarr and Sonarr are one hostname away on the internal network.
- Persistent config: Lists, schedules, and history survive restarts and upgrades.
- Simple subscription: One flat monthly price with a 7-day trial, cancel anytime.
Works With
- Radarr: Movie lists imported with your chosen quality profile and root folder.
- Sonarr: TV lists with per-list monitoring settings.
- TMDB: The discovery source; a free API key takes two minutes to create.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Listarr include or download any movies or shows?
No. Listarr adds titles to your Radarr and Sonarr instances; it never searches for, hosts, or downloads content itself.
What do I need to get started?
A free TMDB API key, plus the URLs and API keys of your Radarr and Sonarr instances. On ElfHosted those are internal hostnames, so setup takes a few minutes.
How mature is Listarr?
It is a young project from a single maintainer, offered here as an early-access app: it works well, but expect a fast-moving upstream and the occasional rough edge. Our Discord community is a good place to compare notes.
Will it re-add things I already have?
No. Items already present in your library are detected and skipped on every run.
