Why ElfHosted?

Self-hosting Nuvio Streams requires more setup than a typical Docker app. You need Node.js installed, a TMDB API key from The Movie Database (free, but requires registration and an API request), and a correctly formatted .env configuration file. Then, because Stremio rejects non-HTTPS addon URLs for remote access, you need a reverse proxy with a valid SSL certificate in front of it — typically Caddy or nginx on a machine with a public domain.

Xprime.tv and Cuevana are disabled on the public Nuvio instance due to upstream restrictions, so the only way to use them is to run your own. ElfHosted gives you that private instance — pre-configured, HTTPS by default — with both providers enabled.
