YourIPTV (formerly Xtremio) brings your existing IPTV subscription into Stremio as live channels and VOD — ElfHosted’s hosted version handles large playlists with extended timeouts and higher rate-limits.
What is YourIPTV?
YourIPTV (formerly Xtremio) is an open-source Stremio addon that parses your existing IPTV subscription (M3U playlist or Xtream Codes API) and surfaces live channels and on-demand content directly in Stremio. It organises your provider's catalog into Stremio's familiar UI — search, posters, EPG, the lot — so you can watch IPTV alongside movies and TV shows without switching apps.
Note: YourIPTV does not provide IPTV content. You bring your own IPTV subscription (M3U URL or Xtream credentials), and YourIPTV organises it for Stremio.
Features
- 📡 M3U playlist support — works with any standard IPTV M3U URL
- 🔑 Xtream Codes support — connect via Xtream API credentials for richer metadata
- 📺 Live channels in Stremio — your IPTV channels appear as installable Stremio sources
- 🎬 VOD library integration — on-demand movies and series from your provider
- 🗓️ EPG support — electronic programme guide where the provider supplies one
- ⏱️ Extended timeouts — handles large VOD libraries (50,000+ entries) without timing out
- ⚡ Higher rate limits — your private instance isn't throttled by shared public load
YourIPTV in Your Streaming Ecosystem
YourIPTV slots IPTV into the Stremio multi-source workflow:
- 📺 Stremio — install YourIPTV as an addon URL; channels and VOD appear in the standard Stremio UI
- 📡 AIOStreams — combine YourIPTV with Comet, Torrentio, and other addons for a unified stream list
- 🌐 Public YourIPTV instance — youriptv.hayd.uk (rate-limited, smaller timeout windows)
- 📦 Your IPTV provider — bring your existing M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials
Why ElfHosted?
The biggest issue self-hosters hit with YourIPTV is timeouts on large IPTV catalogs. A typical IPTV provider's VOD library can have tens of thousands of entries, and parsing that on every catalog request takes longer than the default HTTP timeout window. The result: Stremio shows an empty catalog, the addon looks broken, and the fix is non-obvious — you need to bump timeouts in both the addon config and the reverse proxy in front of it.
The other usual blockers — Stremio's HTTPS requirement, reverse-proxy SSL setup, Docker Compose, port mapping — all apply here too. ElfHosted's hosted instance has the timeouts pre-tuned for large libraries and HTTPS handled out of the box.
- ⏱️ Pre-tuned timeouts — handles large VOD libraries without empty-catalog failures
- 🔒 HTTPS by default — no domain, SSL cert, or reverse proxy to configure
- 🚀 No Docker setup — no port mapping, no compose file, no volume mounts
- 🔄 Always up-to-date — ElfHosted tracks upstream YourIPTV releases automatically

FAQ
Does this come with IPTV channels?
No. You need your own IPTV subscription with an M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials. YourIPTV only organises the content you already subscribe to.
What happened to Xtremio?
Xtremio was renamed to YourIPTV. The codebase and feature set are continuous — old Xtremio users have been migrated transparently.
Why does my catalog appear empty on the public instance?
The public instance has tighter timeouts. If your IPTV provider's catalog is large, the parse can exceed the timeout window. The hosted ElfHosted instance has extended timeouts for exactly this case.
